Nun Sketched in Yellow
charcoal and acrylic on canvas
36 x 24 x 1.5 inches
I just had the thought of going after the idea of charcoal on top of a painted background. I the idea was to make it look as if an artist was sketching a drawing for a future painted on a discarded canvas.

A Thought in Red
Acrylic and charcoal on canvas
24 x 24 x .5 inches
The idea was to make it seem like an artist was making a piece for scientific display. The sketching of Ideas and putting down the small ledger on the side to remind them of the pure colors and meanings of letters. The artist is insane, manic, depressive in a lovely way.

The Distant
Acrylic on Canvas
15 x 30 x 1.5 inch
This is my first abstract painting and I wanted to convey a feeling of disconnection. A person who seems to be hiding and falling apart in a dark area away from a group of bright light figures.

Play
Acrylic on canvas
12 x 24 x 1.5 inch
A love of jazz music and the feeling when the trumpet comes in inspired me to create the painting. I feel that the trumpet gives life to jazz songs, It will come from no where and hit distinctive notes and wonderful sounds. Its instinctual to feel when a trumpet plays.

Body: Wants and Needs
Oil on canvas
24 x 36 x .5 inch
I wanted to make a painting for body positivity and acceptance. The one hand of the woman reaching in need and the other grasping at herself. The woman in a wrapped hiding position but with bright colors showing her form.

Oil on Canvas
36 x 36 x 1.5 inch
I wanted to make this almost water color looking and childlike. Bright colors and odd form for people and places. I anted a bit of life captured in little spots of the work.

The Dancer and The Man
Oil on Canvas
16 x 20 x. 05 inch
I once asked what style this painting should be classified under and someone mentioned "Naive Figuratism", I don't know if it was meant as an insult or a true definition of its style but either way, I loved it . The idea continues to drive my brain. Contact me if you are interested in purchasing. Thank you.

New City Dancer
Oil on canvas
36 x 36 x 1.5 inch
This painting was based on the idea of ballerina busking in the street of a city. In this painting Ballet, which can be see by some as a prestigious form of art puts a ballerina dancing in a dirty street and beside ideas of day to day life. Contact me if you are interested in purchasing. Thank you.

Blue Robber Woman
Oil on canvas
20 x 16 x 0.5 inch
The first oil painting I've ever painted. I went for mixed emotion in her face, and a pretty but a little unsettling look to not just the background but the overall idea. Contact me if you are interested in purchasing.
